What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, the Food Store Manager participates as a key member of our Pembina Consumers Co-op organization, dealing with day-to-day operations of the Souris Food & Liquor Store. The Manager will provide leadership, direction, and support to ensure the location delivers trusted products and services to the local community.

• Development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, and profits within established guidelines.
• Provides operational direction and supports the implementation of programs and policies. Applies a broad-based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
• Act as a liaison and public relations representative within the community, monitoring member satisfaction levels and participates in the development of products and services to increase customer satisfaction.
• Provides leadership in the area of employee relations, hiring, training, development, recognition, and discipline.
• Provides leadership in the area of asset protection and health & safety.
