Tim Hortons in Nipigon, Ontario is looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands‑on leadership role within a fast‑paced coffee shop and quick‑service restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods and procedures to meet daily work schedules
• Supervise and co‑ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train team members on job duties, sanitation protocols, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
• Ensure food quality and service meet established quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customer complaints and concerns professionally
• Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit operational reports
• Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules for a team of 5 to 10 employees

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, noisy environment and stand for extended periods
• Client focus, flexibility, initiative, and strong teamwork
• Own transportation required; public transit available

Work Environment

Coffee shop, fast food outlet, and restaurant setting. Noisy environment with exposure to odours. Fast‑paced work under pressure requiring attention to detail.

Schedule

Shift work including early morning, morning, day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Flexible hours. 35 to 40 hours per week.
