NFS is a provincial service committed to providing nutritious, healthy, high-quality meal service to patients, residents, staff, visitors, and the community.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure a quality patient, resident, and customer experience. Under the supervision of a Food Services Supervisor, you will use customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills to:

1. Prepare, handle, portion, and package food and beverages;
2. Assemble trays in the kitchen and/or serve meals in a dining room setting;
3. Provide patient meal delivery and pickup;
4. Order and store supplies;
5. Operate and clean food service equipment safely;
6. Follow safety, sanitation, and food prep standards per AHS policies;
7. Handle cash in retail settings;
8. Perform other food service duties as assigned.

As a Food Service I, you will perform routine tasks related to basic food prep, including packaging, portioning, serving meals, and cleaning.
