Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a Food & Beverage supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple venues. You will lead a diverse team, ensure policy adherence, and foster a safe, welcoming workplace for staff and guests.

Responsibilities include scheduling, performance reviews, recruitment support, and collaboration with other departments to maintain high service standards. May perform front-line F&B duties as needed and ensure licensing and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; post secondary education in hospitality or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Food & Beverage experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• POS experience
• WHMIS an asset
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
• Ability to obtain a Smart Serve Certificate
• Ability to exceed customer expectations through timely, service oriented communication
• Computer literacy in MS Office

• Schedules and supervises team members; verifies time and attendance; assigns shift work; ensures coverage while minimizing costs

• Assists with screening and selection of new hires; organizes and tracks training progress
• Assess guest alcohol consumption to determine removal or restriction decisions and communicates with guest
• Orders front of house supplies; may participate in monthly inventory count
• Performs front line F&B duties as required (Coffee Cart Server, Bartender, Expediter, Cashier)
• Offers F&B expertise to internal and external customers
• Liaises with operational departments and team members
• Develops strong working relationships with guests, management, team members and vendors
• Ensures licensing, health and safety and other regulatory compliance
• Manages other initiatives as required
