GardaWorld is hiring a Fly-In/Fly-Out Surveillance Casual Security Guard in Canada. The role offers 12-hour shifts with 7-on/7-off or 14-on/14-off rotations, and accommodations are provided.

Expect patrols, surveillance, and customer service as you adapt to diverse sites in Fort McMurray, Calgary and Edmonton. Applicants must meet security licensing, First Aid, CSO, and driver requirements; a clean record and fitness for N95 masks are required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Holding a valid security license is required.
• First aid certification is required.
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation) is required.
• Class 5 driver license is required.
• Clean Driver Abstract is required.
• Pass a drug test 8 panel.
• Clean shaven for N95 fit mask.
• Wildlife Awareness & Wildlife Intermediate.
• Field Ergonomics & OHS Legislation Awareness.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity and threats.
• Address incidents quickly and accurately.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Control access points and check identification.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Partner with authorities during serious situations.
