Job summary

Bombardier Flight Operations in Montreal is seeking a flight test captain to lead production ground and flight tests, validate airworthiness, and conduct customer acceptance and demonstration flights. You will also perform ferry flights and pre/post flight activities, with possible weekend or center support.

Ideal candidates hold an ATPL with Class 1 medical, 3,500 hours total, 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft, and can travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
• Minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel on short notice.
• Previous flight test experience or strong technical background in certification or training is an asset.
• A US ATP is an asset.
• Right to work and live in Canada is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Ability to execute duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining positive relations with crew and management.

Bombardier Flight Operations has an immediate opening in its Montreal Flight Operations Challenger Flight Test.

In your role you will:

• Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
• Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
