Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Canada seeks an experienced flight test professional to conduct production ground and flight tests to validate airworthiness of aircraft. You will perform demonstration flights for potential customers and lead customer acceptance and ferry flights with pre/post flight activities.

Flexibility for irregular hours and travel on short notice is required; a strong technical background in certification or training is a definite asset.

Qualifications

• You hold a valid Canadian ATPL.
• You hold a Class 1 medical.
• You have 3,500 hours total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft.
• BD700 and/or G7500 endorsement is an asset.
• US ATP is an asset.
• You have the right to work and live in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct production ground and flight tests to validate airworthiness.
• Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
• Conduct Customer Acceptance flights, Ferry flights and related pre/post flight activities.
• May support weekend schedules and the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
• Carry out manual and other documentation reviews.
• Execute duties of aircraft commander and collaborate with crew and management.
• Utilize MS Office in flight-test administration.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
• Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
• Conduct Customer Acceptance flights.
• Conduct Ferry flights.
• Carry out pre and post flight activities.
• May be required to support the weekend schedule for extended periods.
• May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.

• Perform secondary duties to support the flight operations team.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi engine aircraft.
• Having a BD700, and/or G7500 endorsement is an asset.

• You have previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training a definite asset.
• Having a US ATP is an asset.
