Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval, QC is seeking a Methods Agent, Avionic Functional Test Control to join the Aerospace Canada team. The role focuses on solving mechanical system issues, writing test procedures, and supporting production changes.

You will review engineering requirements, investigate technical issues from preflight to delivery, and collaborate with Quality and Production to answer technical questions. A college degree in aircraft maintenance with 5+ years in aviation is required; bilingualism

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree in aircraft maintenance and at least 5 years of relevant aviation experience.
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems is essential.
• Must demonstrate responsibility, integrity, initiative and good technical judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Bilingualism (English/French) and strong communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, Quicksilver is an asset; Challenger products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in solving problems related to mechanical systems (troubleshooting).
• Write functional test procedures for various mechanical systems and identify tools required to execute.
• Review and incorporation of engineering requirements.
• Plan and implement changes in production.
• Support and optimize daily production operations.
• Investigate technical issues and find solutions for the aircraft from preflight to delivery to the customer.
• Answer technical questions of Methods, Quality and Production departments.
