Job summary

Qualicare Ottawa is seeking part-time PSWs and Caregivers for flexible shifts across Ottawa and surrounding communities. Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with opportunities for consistent client assignments.

Ideal candidates will have a PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, reliable transportation, and access to a smartphone. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal support, light housekeeping, and assist with mobility while following care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have PSW certificate or equivalent (nursing students and internationally trained nurses welcome).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Access to a smartphone.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with mobility, outings, and errands.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance within your scope.
• Follow individualized care plans and complete visit documentation.
