Qualifikationen

• PSW certificate from an Ontario program
• NACC certification for private career college graduates
• Equivalent credentials (RPN, RN or internationally educated) will be considered
• CPR and First Aid certification from a recognized provider
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within last 12 months

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings as required
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Offer respite support to families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems
• Monitor and report changes in client health or environment
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team
