Job summary

Qualicare Ottawa is hiring part-time PSWs and Caregivers for flexible shifts across Ottawa and surrounding communities. Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with options for 2–12 hour shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, reliable transportation, access to a smartphone, and a compassionate, dependable attitude. Training and PPE are provided, with referral bonuses and ongoing opportunities within the QPath Career Pathways program.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or equivalent (nursing students and internationally trained nurses welcome)
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Access to a smartphone
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Assist with mobility, outings, and errands
• Provide medication reminders and assistance within your scope
• Follow individualized care plans and complete visit documentation
