Job summary

Qualicare is seeking part-time PSWs and Caregivers to support clients across Ottawa and surrounding communities with personal care, companionship, and daily routines.

You will assist with meals, mobility, light housekeeping, and documentation of visits, while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach. Shifts range from 2–12 hours, with pay of $20–$24 per hour and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray is expected.
• Reliable transportation to client homes is required.
• Access to a smartphone for scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with mobility, outings, and errands.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance within your scope.
• Follow individualized care plans and complete visit documentation.
