Job summary

Qualicare is seeking part-time PSWs and caregivers to provide flexible, client-focused support in Ottawa and surrounding communities. Shifts range from 2–12 hours with competitive wages and opportunities for ongoing assignments.

Candidates should have a PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification, and reliable transportation to client homes. Training and PPE are provided, with a focus on compassionate, dependable service.

Qualifications

• Must have PSW certificate or equivalent (nursing students and internationally trained nurses welcome).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with mobility, outings, and errands.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance within your scope.
• Follow individualized care plans and complete visit documentation.
