Job summary

The Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, BC, part of Relais & Châteaux, is seeking a Day Server to deliver exceptional guest experiences on morning shifts. You will guide guests through menu options, explain ingredients, and collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service.

The ideal candidate brings hospitality passion, strong communication, and a proven ability to multitask in a fine dining setting while upholding Forbes, AAA Diamond, and Relais & Châteaux standards.

Qualifications

• Must lead and be a role model for operating standards and systems.
• Excellent communication, energy, and ability to multi-task.
• Valid Serving It Right Certification.
• Experience in a fine dining environment.
• Knowledge of food, wine, beer and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond, and Forbes Standards.
• Lead by example as pro-active team member.
• Guide guests through available food & beverage options, assisting with selections.
• Describe ingredients and preparation accurately and respond to guest questions.
• Communicate orders to Culinary Team via Silverware POS.
• Balance cash-outs and complete administrative duties.
• Prepare and serve Barista style coffees.
