Job summary

Hard Rock Ottawa Hotel & Casino is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Council Oak Steakhouse to lead daily operations, uphold luxury service standards, and drive financial performance. Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in upscale, fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-volume restaurant environments.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience leading front-of-house operations, including service, staffing, scheduling, and guest relations.
• Experience managing restaurant financials, including labor costs, revenue targets, forecasting, budgeting, and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of Council Oak Steakhouse, maintaining impeccable standards of service, presentation, ambiance, and execution.
• Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of service professionals with a hospitality-first mindset.
• Partner with Culinary Leadership to deliver signature menus, wine pairings, and special dining events.
• Drive revenue growth through upselling, premium wine and spirit offerings, and private dining opportunities.
• Oversee dining room atmosphere, music, lighting, cleanliness, and table presentation to reflect the Hard Rock brand.
• Analyze operational and financial performance to drive continuous improvement and control costs.
