This role involves preparing accurate interim and annual financial statements, completing month-end and other reporting tasks, and supporting audit processes. The candidate will assist in documenting internal controls, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and contribute to team effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting packages within deadlines
  • Complete month-end and client reporting activities
  • Assist auditors with financial statement audits
  • Resolve reporting issues and handle special requests
  • Document and review internal control policies
  • Work efficiently under pressure, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Proofread final financial statements
  • Participate in special projects and team activities
  • Maintain knowledge of accounting requirements for investment funds and securities
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Enrolled in a professional designation program is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience in investment fund industry is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Invest One and Confluence is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
