Job summary

Pollard Banknote Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Winnipeg Finance team. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of IFRS financial reporting, prepare monthly statements, and support budgeting processes.

This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable analyses that drive business decisions. You’ll reconcile core accounts, post month-end entries, and contribute to audits and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation (or legacy accounting designation) and 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, accountability reports, and variance analyses.
  • Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts (prepaids, receivables, deferred revenue, accruals, debt).
  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals and foreign currency revaluations.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and other finance projects.

Working closely with teams across the business, this position provides meaningful financial analysis, prepares financial statements, supports month-end reporting, and contributes to the annual budgeting process. What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, accountability reports, andvariance analyses to support business decision-making

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial results
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with MicrosoftDynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems is considered an asset
