What is the opportunity?

As an RBC Financial Planner specializing in Investment and Retirement Planning, you will develop relationships and create customized investment solutions for prospective and existing RBC clients. You will be supported by internal partners who refer clients to you. Your creativity, motivation, and drive to generate new investment sales will enable you to provide exceptional advice and solutions to help clients achieve their long-term goals. With unlimited earning potential, you can shape your future and that of your clients.

What will you do?

• Provide personalized financial planning advice and solutions using our comprehensive investment and portfolio options, including proprietary and select third-party mutual funds.
• Acquire new clients and consolidate assets from existing clients.
• Connect clients with the appropriate RBC team members to meet their needs.
• Develop external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and your centers of influence.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Financial Planning Designation (IPF) or in the process of completing it.
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning.
• Proven skills in networking and client acquisition.
• Ability to build strong partner relationships.
• Bilingual in English and French, as you will serve clients in both languages.
