Responsibilities
  • Determine clients' financial objectives and lifestyle, conduct comprehensive assessments, and build long-term relationships through financial planning expertise, relationship management, and ongoing service.
  • Perform relevant analyses, produce reports, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continuously evaluate program, policy, and practice effectiveness.
  • Contribute to team and service goals by enhancing customer service quality and demonstrating dedication.
  • Supervise service delivery and productivity; evaluate and implement continuous improvements.
  • Stay informed of best practices, procedures, and emerging trends.
  • Develop specialized knowledge to mentor, assist, and guide colleagues.
  • Maintain a risk management culture supported by a balanced risk appetite.
  • Participate actively as a team member and promote a positive, service-oriented work environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • Financial planner diploma from the Financial Planning Institute before start date.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) before start date.
  • Three to five years of banking experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English to serve both French- and English-speaking clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ongoing accreditation with the OPC (or within 90 days of start).
  • Completion of the Conduct Standards course within 90 days.
  • Completion of the Wealth Management Fundamentals course within 30 months.
  • Deep understanding of the industry, competition, regulations, and market issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for teamwork, autonomous work, and client relations.
