Job summary

UService Advisor Finance (Full-time, temporary for 15 months) provides front-line service to faculty, staff, students and external stakeholders on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Finance systems. The role uses PeopleSoft, eFin, ServiceNow and PureCloud to document and resolve inquiries with escalation when needed.

Role located at Main Campus with a hybrid work schedule: in-office Tue–Thu and remote Mon/Fri, subject to change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of related experience in a customer service, administrative, finance, post-secondary, public sector, or shared services environment.
• Experience in a Finance service role is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a university or complex institutional environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of Finance policies, procedures, and processes related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain Management, and Research Accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, timely, professional, and competent service to faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders seeking support for Finance-related inquiries.
• Support inquiries related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain Management, Research Accounting, Finance systems, forms, procedures, and self-service resources.
• Assess, resolve, or elevate client inquiries using established policies, procedures, scripts, decision documents, knowledge articles, and standard operating practices.
• Use ServiceNow and PureCloud to receive, document, manage, resolve, and elevate client inquiries in accordance with service standards and ticket management expectations.
• Translate Finance processes, system navigation steps, documentation requirements, approval pathways, and procedural requirements into plain language for clients with diverse experience levels.
