Job summary

ATIKAMEKSHENG ANISHNAWBEK is seeking a Finance Clerk to support the Finance Department in Naughton, Ontario. The role focuses on coordinating credit card usage, reconciliations, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and purchase orders under the Finance Manager’s guidance.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting diploma with several years in a finance office; payroll knowledge and Sage 300 (Sage Accpac) familiarity are assets.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of work experience in a First Nation Finance Office or similar accounting setting.
• Accounting or Business Administration diploma is required.
• Payroll Certification (PCP) or Payroll Management considered an asset.
• Experience with Sage Accpac (Sage 300) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credit card usage and maintain the credit card email inbox.
• Review and code credit card orders; ensure approvals and calendar bookings.
• Record credit card issuances and maintain the credit card manual system.
• File invoices and scans related to credit card purchases; organize in accdata drive.
• Prepare AP batches in Sage 300 for 1st–15th and 16th–31st periods; process payments.
• Reconcile credit card purchases with corporate statements and control accounts.
