Job summary

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) seeks a Supervisor, Finance & Accounting to lead the Authority’s accounting systems, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury functions, and controls.

You will guide the Finance Unit, manage annual budgets around $30 million, oversee audits, and provide financial analysis to support organizational decision-making. CPA designation and a bachelor’s degree are required, with at least five years in a senior finance role.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is expected.
• Five or more years in a senior finance or accounting role with PSAS knowledge is required.
• Experience with computerized financial systems (Sage ERP or similar) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer financial systems, controls, and reporting.
• Coordinate operating and capital budgets around $30 million with managers.
• Oversee year-end activities and external audits; manage treasury and cash flow.
