Bulkley Valley Credit Union is seeking a finance professional to lead financial accounting and budgeting across the organization and its subsidiaries. You will collaborate with senior leadership to prepare operating and capital budgets, monitor performance, and ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires a CPA designation and at least three years of accounting experience, with strong focus on budgeting processes, internal controls, and staff development in a cooperative environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting and budgeting systems for Bulkley Valley Credit Union and subsidiaries.
• Assist in preparing annual operating and capital budgets.
• Monitor budgets, analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and accounting procedures.
• Develop and recommend accounting policies and standards.
• Support staff with professional service and collaborative teamwork.
