Job summary

Komatsu Canada is seeking an Underground Field Service Technician (FIFO) to support Red Lake operations. This onsite role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of underground mining equipment on a 14x14 shift, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

You will engage with engineering and field teams, perform RCA analyses, and travel 100% as required. Strong safety focus and a valid 421A certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification is required.
• Red Seal is an asset.
• Experience with underground mining equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Komatsu and support underground mining equipment on a rotational schedule.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair underground equipment.
• Perform maintenance, service and repair on multiple equipment at client sites.
• Commission new equipment and on-site startup.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
• Mentor junior technicians and support customer teams.
