Komatsu Canada is seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician for our underground service team in Sudbury. You will join our dedicated team, servicing LHDs, haul trucks, jumbos, bolters and drifters, with travel up to 40-60% as required.

This role offers a dynamic environment at a leading equipment provider, with relocation eligibility and a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification
• Truck and Coach Technician certification considered
• Underground mining equipment experience required
• Valid Class G driver's licence; travel and OT flexibility
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; strong diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Independent or team work capability

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and servicing on Komatsu underground mining equipment (LHDs, haul trucks, jumbos, bolters, drifters)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, diesel, hydraulic, battery electric and electrical systems
• Replace/adjust components to restore performance
• Work at customer sites delivering timely, effective service
• Uphold safety-first culture in every task
