Job summary

Ooma is seeking a Field Support Specialist to provide remote technical and operational support for field resources, coordinating installations and troubleshooting issues from a distance.

You will schedule field resources with third-party dispatch vendors, act as the internal contact, use remote diagnostics, and document resolutions to keep projects on track. 2–3 years in technical customer success or related roles are preferred, with UCaaS experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in technical customer success, implementation coordination, or remote technical support.
• Experience in a UCaaS or customer-service call-center environment is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new hardware, software, and processes.
• Ability to use digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Schedule field resources with third-party dispatch vendors.
• Serve as internal point of contact and provide high-quality support via phone, email, video, and service-management tools.
• Support field resources during installations by clarifying requirements and coordinating next steps.
• Use remote diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, or installation issues.
• Complete accurate service reports and document troubleshooting activity and resolutions.
• Coordinate with field resources and internal teams to keep tasks on schedule.
