Job summary

Nexsource Power Inc. in Red Deer, AB is seeking Journeyman or Apprentice HET or Millwrights for field and shop work.

You will overhaul engines across multiple makes, set up timing on spark ignition engines, and program generator controls in a fast paced environment. Travel to remote sites, work from camps or hotels when required, mentor junior staff and apprentices, and ensure compliance with OH&S, NPI and client standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience overhauling engines across makes/models.
• Must have safety tickets (First Aid/CPR, H2S, CSTS, CSO).

Responsibilities

• Overhaul engines across numerous makes/models.
• Set up and adjust timing on spark ignition engines.
• Program and troubleshoot generator controls.
• Complete retrofits on generator packages.
• Travel to field sites and work from camps or hotels as required.
• Mentor junior staff and apprentices.
• Follow OH&S and client safety standards.
