Job summary

Basin Solutions in Alberta is building a network of skilled millwrights for permanent, contract, and shutdown roles with industrial clients. The work involves installing, aligning, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment in plants, mills, and oil and gas facilities.

Some roles are shop based, others on site, with rotations. The ideal candidate holds a journeyperson millwright certificate (Red Seal preferred), has experience with precision alignment and mechanical troubleshooting, can read

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Millwright certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Experience with precision alignment, bearings, seals, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Able to read drawings and work from technical manuals.
• Safety tickets such as H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and First Aid.
• Willingness to travel or work rotations within Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, maintain, and repair rotating equipment in plants, mills, and oil and gas facilities.

Basin Solutions works with industrial clients across Alberta who need skilled tradespeople they can rely on. We are building a network of experienced millwrights for upcoming permanent, contract, and shutdown roles, and we want to hear from you whether you are actively looking or just open to the right opportunity.

The work involves installing, aligning, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and gearboxes in plants, mills, and oil and gas facilities. Some roles are shop based, others are on site, and many include turnaround work or rotations.

What we’re looking for

• Journeyperson Millwright certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Experience with precision alignment, bearings, seals, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Comfortable reading drawings and working from technical manuals
• Current safety tickets such as H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and First Aid
• Willingness to work rotations or travel within Alberta is an asset
