Job summary

Toromont Cat in Fredericton is seeking a Field Service Technician - Power to service customer sites with a Toromont Service truck, diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment, and maintain high standards of safety and integrity.

You will work in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment with opportunities to grow; a valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license is required, with Red Seal preferred, plus hands-on experience with CAT ET/SIS.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license per provincial standards.
• Red Seal Truck & Transport is preferred.
• 1–3 years of heavy equipment repair or service experience.
• Familiarity with CAT systems such as ET and SIS is beneficial.

Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician - Power, to go directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$ 48.72 – 51.55

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and leveraging top tier technical skills.

Must-haves for this role:

• A valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License relative to this position, following Provincial standards.
• Red seal truck and transport, preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field.
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial).
