Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician, Crushing to travel directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise to keep repairs timely and with integrity.

As a Field Service Technician you will diagnose mechanical problems with Caterpillar testing equipment, uphold safety culture, and maintain strong customer relationships across Eastern Canada.

Qualifications

• A valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license relative to this position.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field.
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial).
• A valid Driver’s Licence (DZ Licence preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and leveraging top tier technical skills.
• Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within the established time standards out in the field.
• Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$51.46 to $55.24
