BGE Clean Air is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Moncton, NB or Halifax, NS. You will test and certify biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, and cleanroom environments across the region, delivering diagnostic and repair support with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

The role requires travel to client sites, collaboration with multiple teams, and ongoing technical development to maintain industry certifications and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through use of hand tools in previous roles.
• Past working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, or motor repair is beneficial.
• Ability to conduct basic calculations and interpret measurements related to airflow, pressure, and filtration systems.
• Understanding of technical documentation, including manufacturer guidelines, SOPs, and industry standards (NSF/ANSI, ISO, NEBB) is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Service Delivery—Testing and certifying biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, clean benches, and cleanroom environments per industry standards; perform diagnostics and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with supervisors, Regional Managers, and internal teams to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction; communicate findings and guidance to clients.
• Travel within the region to client sites; commit to ongoing learning through hands-on training and new certifications.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by maintaining a safe work environment, conducting hazard assessments, and documenting incidents or near misses.

In this role, you will play a criticalpartin keeping laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, and research environments safe and compliantthroughtesting and certifying critical equipment. In this role, you will develop skills in advanced diagnostics and direct client engagement through structured, field-based training.
