Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and deliver expert repairs with integrity.

You will diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment, maintain quality workmanship, and build trusted relationships through regular on-site visits while supporting safety culture and continuous learning within our team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a field related to heavy equipment mechanics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy construction/mining equipment.
• Red Seal Heavy Equipment licence and valid driver’s licence.
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS) is an asset.

Job description

Pay or shift range: $41.35 CAD to $47.32 CAD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Toromont Cat is looking for Heavy Equipment Field Service Technicians to go directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

Compensation

$41.35 to $47.32

Must-haves for this role:

• Post-secondary education in a field related to Heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics or heavy engine mechanics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy construction and/or mining equipment
• Red Seal Heavy Equipment licence
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be an asset)
• A valid Driver’s Licence
