Job summary

Toromont Cat in Sault Ste. Marie is searching for a Field Service Technician specializing in heavy equipment. In this role, you will provide superior service directly at customer sites, ensuring mechanical problems are diagnosed and repairs are completed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in mechanics, at least 3 years of experience in mining equipment repairs, and a valid Driver’s License. Toromont Cat offers a comprehensive rewards package and focuses on employee safety and development.

Qualifications

• Completed a post-secondary education in a field related to heavy duty, heavy engine, or heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in repair and service of mining heavy equipment (ideally underground mining equipment).
• Currently 421A licensed (If close to challenging exam, please apply anyways).
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS) an asset.
• A valid Driver’s License (DZ License preferred).

Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment to go directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$51.46 - $55.24

The listed wage is just one component of our total rewards package, and eligibility to additional premiums may be available.
