Job summary

Biesse in Canada is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, repair and maintenance of advanced machinery at customer sites. You will train customer personnel, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, and produce thorough service reports while building strong customer relationships.

Candidates must reside within 45 minutes of a major airport, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, travel 90–100% (Mon-Fri), and have 3–5 years of tech service experience with a technical

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical service experience, preferably with CNC machinery or similar equipment.
• A technical diploma or equivalent hands-on work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation, repair, and maintenance of advanced machinery at customer sites.
• Provide hands-on training to customer representatives on machinery operations and maintenance.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic issues to ensure peak performance.
• Conduct on-site service interventions and collaborate with customers to resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain detailed service reports documenting all service activities.

• Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Travel Availability: Willingness to travel extensively (90–100%), Monday through Friday.
• 3 – 5 years of technical service experience, preferably with CNC industry machinery or similar equipment.
• A technical diploma or equivalent hands‑on work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in using mechanical and electrical measuring instruments to diagnose and resolve issues.
