The Field Service Technician (Edmonton) provides 24/7 on-call field service support, troubleshooting, and training at customer locations on mechanical and electrical components of Decanters, High-Speed Separators, and Plate Heat Exchangers to ensure reliable operation, optimal performance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency and warranty repairs, installation supervision, commissioning, system audits, process troubleshooting, technical support, and working independently to minimize customer downtime while managing travel and operating expenses. The technician also promotes upgrades, parts, and services to grow the aftermarket business and must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job duties and responsibilities :
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION DESIRED
Technical diploma in mechanical or electrical focus, vocational training, or Journeyman status. Alternatively, 5-10 years of industrial mechanical or electrical experience demonstrating proficiency.
