SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd. is currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join us at our Burlington location. We are Canada's largest dealership for Trimble construction equipment. Our team understands how to apply Trimble technology to solve significant challenges on construction sites. We help civil engineering and construction customers leverage technology systems for their fleet of heavy equipment and survey needs.

Hourly Wage: $26.00 - $31.00 depending on experience

This position reports directly to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in safe workplace behaviors and practices, supporting SITECH's health and safety policies and initiatives.
2. Repair, service, and support 2D and 3D heavy construction machine control and guidance systems, paving systems, mobile GPS technologies, payload systems, components, and related software.
3. Provide field installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and training/support for customers.
4. Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of open projects to minimize backlog.
5. Manage service-related documentation and paperwork as directed.
6. Perform equipment inspections on job sites.
7. Ensure parts are ordered promptly.
8. Navigate efficiently within the region, managing traffic situations.
9. Maintain excellent customer relations in a fast-paced environment.
10. Be adaptable to on-call schedules and work in all weather conditions.
11. Maintain and organize company vehicle.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
