Job summary

Zoomlion Heavy Industry NA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and replace components on construction machinery.

You will identify root causes from fault symptoms and test results and perform on-site service at customer sites. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, stock equipment inspections, documentation of service orders, and reporting unresolved issues to the support team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Eng./Mechatronics/Electrical/Automotive Tech/Construction Machinery Maintenance.
• At least 3 years hands-on repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Experience with excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes or mining gear preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site fault diagnosis, inspection, repair, and component replacement.
• Identify root causes from symptoms, codes, and tests; propose repair solutions.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and powertrain systems.
• Test, commission, and verify functionality after repairs.
• Travel to customer sites for field service, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Create service orders and record symptoms, root causes, and repairs.
• Maintain on-site records including photos and test data.
