Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Technical Service Representative, Electrical in Saskatoon, SK. You will be the on‑ground expert for commissioning, troubleshooting high‑voltage systems, and field service on heavy mining equipment.

This role requires Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson and 1–3 years of mining equipment experience. Travel up to 25% within Canada and the USA, with a 7x7 shift and 12‑hour days. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson required or dual ticket preferred.
1–3 years of related experience in mining or heavy equipment industry.
Strong ability to diagnose issues with PLCs, VFDs, and high‑voltage systems.
Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and proportional valve control.

Responsibilities

Support equipment builds, commissioning, and follow‑up service on customer sites.
Provide on‑site technical support across all product lines.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
Adjust, repair, or replace components and systems at customer sites.
Track machine component KPIs and maintain accurate service records.
Interface field issues with Product Support team to drive improvements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
