Job summary

GRAF Industries Inc, headquartered in Vaughan, ON, is seeking a skilled Mechanic / Electro-Technician to join our North American field service team. The role involves installing, commissioning, diagnosing, and maintaining industrial machinery at customer sites across Canada, the USA, and Italy.

Extensive travel is required to support installations and training. The successful candidate will read electrical and mechanical drawings, troubleshoot complex systems, and work independently while

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of field service/commissioning/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test industrial machinery at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Replace and adjust machine components as required.
• Perform start-up and operational validation.
• Provide technical training and support to customer personnel.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support upgrades, retrofits, revamps, modifications.
• Prepare detailed service reports.
