Job summary

Wesco in Canada is seeking a Representative - Outside Sales to develop new prospects and manage assigned customer accounts, driving revenue through face-to-face selling, proposals, and product demonstrations.

You will travel to client sites, build relationships with technical and management staff, and leverage supplier programs. A strong sales background, presentation skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior outside sales experience required.
• Two years of industry experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers and manage assigned accounts to increase revenue.
• Deliver product demonstrations and prepare proposals.
• Develop and execute account plans with management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and sales support for quotes.
• Maintain relationships through ongoing communication post-sale.
• Travel to client sites as required.
