Job summary

Bird Construction is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator to work with the project execution and supervision teams to ensure work complies with project specifications. The role is field-based in the Greater Vancouver area, with travel to project sites as required to support project pursuits and delivery.

You will perform QA inspections for concreting work (rebar, formwork, embeds, anchor bolts), review test results from third-party agencies, and support the Project Quality Plan, developing written plans

Qualifications

Experience performing QA inspections for civil, structural, roofing, MEP, and finishes.
Ability to review test results from third-party inspection agencies.
Experience generating Non-Conformance Reports and coordinating dispositions.
Experience documenting project status via 3D site captures.

Responsibilities

Work with the project team and trade partners on quality and daily inspections.
Perform QA inspections for concreting work (rebar, formwork, embeds, anchor bolts, readiness for pours, repairs).
Review test results from third-party inspection agencies.
Generate Non-Conformance Reports and coordinate disposition with Bird team, Subcontractors, and Clients for closure.
Support the deficiency process, conducting walkthroughs with the project team and trade partners and ensuring deficiencies are tracked.
Document the project status through 3D site captures.
