Job summary

EBC Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Coordinator to oversee the Quality Management System for major civil projects in North York, Ontario.

You will lead QA/QC activities on-site and at fabrication facilities, ensuring compliance with federal standards and project requirements. The role requires strong ISO 9001 knowledge, lead auditor certification, and 5–10 years of civil engineering QA/QC experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Must have ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification; formal ISO quality auditor training completed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; P.Eng. or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in civil engineering with QA/QC on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise QA/QC on-site and at fabrication facilities.
• Review and approve ITPs for foundations, concrete works, formwork, and steel structures.
• Manage material testing and ensure timely reporting and analysis of results.
• Coordinate audits and compliance with client, certifying bodies, and authorities.
