Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Milton Construction & Forestry location. This outside sales role focuses on promoting and selling Material Handling parts and service, plus providing after-sales support to customers.

You will build strong customer relationships, visit sites, and coordinate with Parts and Service teams to maximize profitability. Travel within the territory is required, with potential nights away from home as needed.

Qualifications

• Exemplary customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of construction & forestry heavy equipment parts, operations, and industry
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories and some nights away from home
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is an asset
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales and satisfaction
• Assist the Parts & Service departments to improve profitability and performance
• Prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss promotions and programs
• Execute yearly territory plan to maximize sales potential
• Visit customers in the area, minimum one visit per month
• Keep customers informed about new products and services
• Develop prospective customers with a target of two per month
• Follow up on unit and machine performance with customers
• Maintain customer data records and opportunities in the CRM
• Collaborate with management to meet budget goals and expand the customer base
• Gather competitive product and pricing information for management
• Participate in training and development opportunities
• Address customer concerns with the appropriate management team
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and maintenance
