Job summary

Brandt in Prince George, BC is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Prince George Construction and Forestry Location. This outside sales role focuses on promoting and selling Construction and Forestry parts and service, and providing after sales support to new and existing customers.

You will develop relationships, prospect new accounts, implement territory plans, and collaborate with Parts & Service to boost profitability while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in a similar role or in Parts/Service departments.
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is an asset.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract required.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Construction and Forestry parts, operations, and industry.
• Positive and professional attitude toward internal and external situations.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories, with most nights away from home.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to grow sales and satisfaction.
• Assist Parts & Service to increase profitability and performance.
• Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts with promotions and programs.
• Implement yearly territory plan to maximize sales potential.
• Visit customers in the area of responsibility (at least 1 visit per month).
• Keep customers informed on new products and services.
• Develop prospective customers (target ~2 per month).
• Follow up on product performance and customer concerns.
• Maintain and utilize customer records and quotes.
