Job summary

Komatsu Canada is seeking a skilled welder for field service on the largest mining equipment. You will weld, repair, and inspect machines in remote locations across Canada, following blueprints and quality standards.

The role requires a Journeyperson Welder (Red Seal preferred) with strong safety practices and the ability to travel up to 25%. Compensation includes competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Welder with Red Seal preferred.
• Experience with P&H or Joy mining equipment is a bonus.
• Ability to work in remote mine sites and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Weld, repair, service, and inspect heavy mining equipment.
• Work with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW in all positions and wire sizes.
• Read blueprints and follow quality standards.
• Use oxy/fuel cutting equipment and welders.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support crew.
