Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide on-site and remote end-user support across Ontario. The role covers Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure/Intune management, and network supervision at 40+ sites.

You’ll deploy hardware, troubleshoot, and collaborate with vendors while maintaining security best practices. Candidates should have 3+ years in IT support, strong Windows/M365 skills, and experience with Hybrid Azure/AD and MDM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an IT support role, ideally in office and industrial environments.
• Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Hybrid Azure/AD, Intune, and MDM.
• Familiar with Cisco switches and Fortinet devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive end-user support across multiple Ontario locations, including on-site visits.
• Support users across Windows 11, iOS, Android, and macOS within a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Monitor IT ticketing system and ensure SLAs.
• Maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure (Azure, Intune, Microsoft services).
• Deploy, image, and configure desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Deliver desktop support including hardware repairs and software installs.
• Maintain network equipment across 40+ sites in Ontario.
• Use remote diagnostic tools and knowledge bases to resolve incidents.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for issue resolution.
• Contribute to IT knowledge and onboarding/training initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT support services.
• Promote cybersecurity best practices.
