Job summary

Raise is seeking a Field Business Technician for our client in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The role reports to the Sr. Field Business Technician and focuses on day-to-day administration, using your judgment to support the department and business unit objectives.

The position requires independent work, strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with SAP is a plus. Applicants should reside in the Grande Prairie area due to onsite requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct administrative experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Key communicator within the department ensuring information is distributed to employees via Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, and bulletin boards.
• General department administration including correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations; develop/update procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with other departments to manage IT requests, invoicing/requisitions, and service requests for office equipment and supplies.
• Update and distribute procedures, monitoring guides, org charts, handbooks, and manuals as required.
• Comply with HS&E requirements in the performance of this position.
