Exciting opportunity to work in a brand new LTC Home in the heart of the South West Vancouver community. The previous home was rebuilt, so this is a new build but a well-established nursing home owned and operated by the Health Authority. The environment is supportive and collegial.
There are approximately 10 residents, including 8 with tracheostomy and ventilator support, and 2 with tracheostomy without ventilators, varying in age and diagnoses. The physician will work alongside an interdisciplinary team with respirologists and respiratory tech support. The level of care complexity is high, and compensation reflects this.
The physician will share in evening and weekend on-call duties within a group of 8 Long-term care physicians. Join our team today!
Ideally, candidates hold a certificate from the College of Family Physicians.
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience:
• Current CPSBC license – Full
• CCFP certification – Mandatory
• CMPA membership – Mandatory
• Experience in respiratory patient care
Knowledge & Abilities:
• Commitment to health improvement and innovative care delivery methods
• Ability to work effectively within an inter-professional healthcare team
