Job description

Bradford Jacobs has partnered with a leading global organisation to recruit a Facilities Support Specialist to join its corporate facilities team.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining facilities support, workplace auditing, signage installation and employee engagement events. You'll play an important role in maintaining a high-quality workplace environment across multiple corporate buildings, ensuring facilities standards are consistently met, and employees receive an excellent experience.

The role would suit someone highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, with strong attention to detail and a genuine customer-service mindset.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular building inspections and audits, identifying issues relating to cleanliness, functionality, aesthetics and safety.
  • Recording and reporting facilities issues and ensuring they are followed through to resolution.
  • Installing workplace signage, posters, vinyl and adhesive materials across corporate spaces.
  • Managing signage requests from initial submission through to completion, keeping customers updated throughout.
  • Supporting larger building and campus-wide signage projects.
  • Maintaining signage inventory, equipment and project trackers.
  • Supporting workplace events and employee engagement activities, including event set-up, hosting, breakdown and clean-up.
  • Installing promotional materials and ensuring event spaces are presented to a high standard.
  • Managing event supplies, including ordering, organising and auditing inventory.
  • Providing general administrative support and contributing to wider facilities and workplace projects.
  • Managing your own workload and priorities across multiple projects and deadlines.
About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in facilities, workplace services, administration, customer service or a similar environment.
  • Physically fit with the ability to be walking/standing continuously throughout the day
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own daily schedule.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong eye for presentation, quality and aesthetics.
  • Confident communicating professionally with customers, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email and workplace communication platforms.
  • Able to adapt quickly when priorities or requirements change.
  • Practical and hands-on, with the confidence to carry out signage installation and event-related tasks.
  • A strong problem solver who takes ownership rather than waiting to be directed.
  • Professional, reliable and committed to delivering a high standard of customer service.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education or relevant experience is advantageous. Experience with Excel, Smartsheet or facilities/work-order systems would also be beneficial.

This is a 100% on-site position in Vancouver, paying up to CAD 74,300 per annum.
