Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a facilities/office services professional to oversee the efficient operation of a job site, including coordinating moves, administering tasks, and coordinating with vendors.

The role requires 3-5 years in Facilities/Office Services, strong MS Office and excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities; a degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Certification in a relevant field preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ work experience in Facilities/Office Services preferred.
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide superior customer service.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable to changing work priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage all aspects of internal office moves, receive and process client move requests, coordinate with and schedule vendors, and create and distribute move communications and labels to clients.
  • Provide administrative support such as answering incoming calls, participate in Workplace Services meetings and respond to/work with Workplace Services emails.
  • Create vinyl names for office and meeting room doors when needed.
  • Follow up and complete all Facility Service requests.
  • Update FM System as new Associates are on board and floor plans when needed as reconfigurations take place.
  • Perform pre- and post-move inventory, furniture inventory, hang move signage, and supervise movers, furniture reconfiguration and space enhancements.

The salary range for this position is $46,500 - $48,000 Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.   • Provide administrative support such as answering incoming calls, participate in Workplace Services meetings as well as respond and manage Workplace Services (WPS) emails in a timely manner.

  • Follow up and complete all Facility Service requests.
